Volunteering

Volunteers have always made an important contribution to the work at Longfields. We have need of people who would like to consider the following voluntary positions:

• Giving one-to-one support to people with learning and physical disabilities so they can participate more fully in activities. These include art, music, physical exercise and going out into the community.

• Gardening and horticultural activities. Our garden is ‘work in progress’ and we need help from enthusiastic gardeners who are also willing to spend some time with people with a range of disabilities to help them to enjoy and participate in the garden.
